The Word Made Flesh

John 1:14 (KJV) And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

(CEV) The Word became a human being and lived here with us. We saw his true glory, the glory of the only Son of the Father. From him all the kindness and all the truth of God have come down to us.

He sent his word and healed them. Psalm 107:20; (NET) He sent them an assuring word and healed them; he rescued them from the pits where they were trapped.

  • He sent his word spoken.
  • He sent his word physical (Jesus).
  • He sent his word spiritual (Holy Spirit).

God told the people they would be healed. They could expect healing and deliverance. They were to expect healing and deliverance and all their needs addressed. To put it in their mouths and speak of it; engage it and believe on it. Then he sent His Son (His Word). Performing miracles and explaining things to give the people a future and a hope. He sent people an actual physical interaction (Jesus). Who, after a time, sent His Spirit with the same mission. The Holy Spirit, to teach us of God things and reveals the person of Jesus and performs what the word of God says.

We are not left comfortless. We are not abandoned. We are not alone. He is always there with us. Looking to perform His word. Looking after our wellbeing.
